How do I know if my PPI policy has been mis-sold?

There are many reasons why you may have been mis-sold PPI. Some of the main points of mis-sale are detailed here .

 

If my claim is successful, how much compensation will I be awarded?

If your claim is successful, you should be entitled to a full refund of the PPI premium(s) that you have paid, along with a further payment of interest.

 

How long will my claim take?

If your claim is settled by either your policy vendor or if appropriate your policy provider, you can expect your claim to take 3 – 6 months. However, if we need to refer your case to either the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), your claim will take longer.

 

How much will it cost for you to pursue a claim on my behalf?

We work on a simple ‘No Win, No Fee' basis. In the event that we successfully obtain you an offer of compensation, we will charge you a success fee of 25% (including VAT). Furthermore, unlike most of our competitors we will limit our charge to a maximum amount of £2,500 (including VAT).

If your claim is rejected, we will not charge you anything for our services.

 

Are Vendside regulated to pursue a claim on my behalf?

Vendside Limited are regulated by the Ministry of Justice in respect of regulated claims management activities; our registration is recorded on the website www.claimsregulation.gov.uk. As such, you can have confidence in instructing us to pursue a complaint on your behalf.

 

Do you have a complaints procedure

Vendside operate a clear and comprehensive complaints procedure, a copy of which is available via our website or upon request.

 

Do I have to use Vendside to pursue a complaint for the mis-sale of my PPI?

You are able to pursue a complaint about the mis-sale of your PPI, yourself free of charge. However, through instructing a Claims Management Company such as Vendside, you are able to benefit from the firms specialist knowledge and experience. Furthermore, as we correspond on your behalf, we are able to reduce the amount of time you will need to dedicate towards pursuing a claim.
